Key takeaways

  • From September 18, 2026 Seobility Premium costs $69.90 a month, up from $50, and the free plan crawls 100 pages instead of 1,000. That is why people are searching for Seobility alternatives now.
  • Zutrix includes a 200 point site audit, rank tracking, and backlink monitoring from $19 a month, with daily checks from $29.
  • Screaming Frog is free for 500 URLs and the best desktop crawler for technical work.
  • Ahrefs Webmaster Tools gives you a free site audit and backlinks for any site you verify.

Seobility earned its fans with a generous free plan and a clear site audit. In September 2026 it raised prices and cut the free crawl from 1,000 pages to 100. If you are reading this, you probably got the email. This guide compares seven Seobility alternatives on audit depth, rank tracking, and price, with prices checked on September 16, 2026.

We make Zutrix and it is on the list, so weigh our entry with that in mind. We list the limits of every tool side by side. If you mainly want to understand what an audit should check, read the technical SEO checklist first.

What changed at Seobility in 2026

Seobility pricing changed on September 18, 2026. Until then, Premium was $50 a month and Agency was $200. From September 18 the prices are $69.90 and $239.90. The free Basic plan still gives you one project, weekly checks on 10 keywords, and 5 tool queries a day, but the crawl limit drops from 1,000 pages to 100. For a small business site that is the difference between a full audit and a sample.

Seobility remains a decent tool. The audit is readable, the rank tracker is fine for weekly checks, and the free SEO checker is still one of the better ones. The question is whether $69.90 a month buys more from Seobility competitors. For most sites, it does.

How we compared the alternatives

  • Audit depth: pages crawled per run and the number of checks.
  • Rank tracking: keywords included and update frequency.
  • Backlinks: whether a real index is included.
  • Free tier: what you get without paying, since that was Seobility's draw.
  • Price for one user on monthly billing.

The best Seobility alternatives, reviewed

1. Zutrix

Zutrix

Site audit, daily rank tracking, backlinks, and AI visibility in one plan

Price from
$19 a month weekly checks, $29 daily
Site audit
200 plus checks, 100 pages on Starter, 500 on Agency, 750 on Enterprise
Rank tracking
250 keywords on Starter, daily or weekly
Backlinks
10,000 rows a month on Starter
Free option
7 day trial for $7, free SERP checker and keyword planner

Zutrix does the two things Seobility users care about, audits and rankings, and adds two they usually buy elsewhere, backlinks and AI search tracking. The Site Audit tool runs 200 plus checks and groups fixes by impact. The Rank Tracker checks weekly or daily with screenshots. Starter at $19 costs less than Seobility Premium did before the rise.

Where Seobility wins: its free SEO checker for one-off page scores, and its keyword tools in German-speaking markets. The 100 page Starter crawl is also smaller than Seobility Premium's, so a large site should look at the Pro or Agency plan.

Zutrix: pros and cons

Pros

  • Cheaper than the new Seobility Premium
  • Daily rank tracking with screenshots
  • Backlinks and AI visibility included
  • Team seats included

Cons

  • Starter crawl is 100 pages
  • No free plan, only a $7 trial
  • No one-off free SEO checker for any URL

2. Screaming Frog SEO Spider

Screaming Frog

The desktop crawler technical SEOs use

Price
Free up to 500 URLs, about $259 a year for unlimited
What it does
Crawls, finds broken links, duplicate titles, redirects, structured data issues
What it lacks
No rank tracking, no scheduling on the free version, no hosted reports

Screaming Frog is the deepest crawler on this list and the free version handles small sites. It runs on your computer, so large sites need memory and time. It does not track rankings and the reports are spreadsheets, not dashboards. Pair it with a rank tracker and you have replaced Seobility for less. Our how to fix broken links guide uses it.

Screaming Frog: pros and cons

Pros

  • Free for 500 URLs
  • Finds issues hosted tools miss
  • One-off yearly fee, no subscription

Cons

  • Desktop only
  • No rank tracking or backlinks
  • Reports need work before a client sees them

3. Ahrefs Webmaster Tools

For sites you can verify, Ahrefs Webmaster Tools is free and includes a scheduled site audit and a full backlink report from the Ahrefs index. It is the best free Seobility alternative for your own site. It does not track rankings and shows nothing for competitors.

4. SE Ranking

SE Ranking is the agency pick. For $129 a month you get a large site audit, 2,000 daily tracked keywords, backlinks, and a content editor. It costs more than Seobility Agency did, but it replaces two or three tools. See SE Ranking pricing for plan details.

5. Sitechecker

Sitechecker is a site monitoring tool with an audit, rank tracker, and change alerts. Plans start around $59 a month. It feels closest to Seobility in layout and scope. Reviews mention pushy upsells, so test it in the trial before you commit.

6. WooRank

WooRank is built around quick audits and lead generation widgets for agencies. Pro is $79.99 a month, or $53.25 on annual billing. The audit is shallower than Seobility's but the client-facing reports are clean. See WooRank alternatives if that sounds like the wrong fit.

7. Semrush

Semrush Site Audit crawls up to 100,000 pages a month on the $139 plan and grades issues by severity. It is more than most Seobility users need, and it costs twice the new Premium price. Choose it only if you also want the keyword and backlink tools. Our Semrush alternatives guide lists cheaper routes.
